Complaint letter to FireFlyz

Dear Sir/Madam,

Just want to make attention to your company.

We had make the following bookings :
From Subang fly to Kuala Terrengganu (KT),

Booking reference :
SZLZCI
PZKVBF

Depart flight FY3316 on the 18June2008 3.25pm-4.25pm, for 4pax.
Return flight FY3317 on 21June2008 4.40pm-5.40pm, for 8pax.

Unfortunately, few days before we depart, we received msg and email from Fireflyz, that the FY3316 had been cancelled and move to FY3312 18June2008 depart at 9.35am. This was ok for us, because we still in KL, still managed arrange our time, and also we had called to confirm that there is no change for the return flight.

On the Thursday night (19June2008), we received msg from Fireflyz again, saying that our return flight FY3317 had been move to FY3313 21June20008 depart at 8.15am. As that is already after 9pm, that was after your working hour, so, we couldn't call for our enquiries.

The next day morning, around 8am, we call to Fireflyz, they are just tell that the flight is being changed to 8.15am, no reasons and no solutions for us. All the flight is been fully booking till Tuesday. If really no choice, that day morning we have to leave the island (we just reached Wednesday afternoon), or we will take other flight or bus to back to KL. They said will check and call us back.All these alternatives will incurred more cost to us, either the flights or hotel.

After around half and hour, since they is no call from Fireflyz, we call again to confirm. This time is better as they give another alternative, ie. transfer us to MAS, we had no other choice, we accepted the alternative.

But at the afternoon, we got missed calls from Fireflyz ( we couldn't answer the calls as we went out for snorkeling). We called back, they said leave voice mail and email to us, but when we checked voice mail, is actually no, and email we are unable to check. This time, they said that on the 21June2008, Fireflyz will depart 8.15am, but MAS will have 2 flights, ie.2pm and 4.15pm. But they ask us to confirm the seats with MAS by going to the airport by 1pm, look for MR.Azlan, im asking whether the seats is confirm for 8pax or not, but they keep say cannot confirm. It was not very helpful.

No other choice, we told the resort office people about our situation, she said we have to leave the island by 8pm(1st boat out), that time is already 7.30, for half and hour, we all rushed for everything.

By 10am, we reached the airport and found the MAS counter, they told us the seats for 8 of us is already confirmed, and also told us we are back to KLIA instead of Subang Airport. From 10am to 4.15pm, we had wasted 6hrs doing nothing in the KT airport.

We choosing Fireflyz because it was more convenience to us as it is more nearer to our house, and now it seems to cause even more troubles for us, and make our trip very rush, keep changing the flights and always not confirm when asking about the flight details. It was very disappointed that the flight time is not considerable, as i think most of the passengers is in the island, it was not possible for us to come out early in the morning.

As we knew from the our resort and MAS crews,they told us that it was not the 1st time Fireflyz changing the flight time.I'm just want bring out the issues, i understand that your flight company is just open not very long, but all this will affect the mood of traveling and also the confidence to take again Fireflyz for the next trip.

Hope that it will not happen again in the future.
